The Centre will bring together all key actors related to sustainable energy at NCSRD in a collaborative way under the leadership of Prof. G. Tsatsaronis. The main scope is to build a Team for interacting, networking and creating synergies with NCSRD labs, national and international research institutions and the industry. During the course of the project, a new leader will take on the role of Prof. Tsatsaronis to ensure the sustainability of the Centre.

The research content of the Centre includes five groups and is formulated in a way to bridge the gaps among the identified energy-related labs of NCSRD and sustainable energy systems, driven by the new research topics introduced by Prof. Tsatsaronis. These groups are shown below:
