Our first press release has been issued giving the highlights of the project. It has been shared with our growing community.

The kick-off meeting took place on the 14th of March 2025 with the participation of the WP leaders of the project. The discussions focused on the first activities that are to be implemented regarding the recruitment process and the structural changes, concluding to a planning of the work within the next 6 months.

On Thursday 13 March 2025, Dr. Stasinos Konstantopoulos, Senior Researcher at the Institute of Informatics & Telecommunications of NCSR Demokritos represented the MANOLO project and met with the management board of EXCELLEND (Prof. George Tsatsaronis and Dr. George Kosmadakis). Building on the discussions during the meeting, the two projects explored opportunities for collaboration by combining AI computing with energy/mechanical engineering to develop interdisciplinary approaches to energy systems. Follow-up meetings will be scheduled in the coming months to further define the foundation for collaboration and interaction.
